Information for your Visit
If this is your first visit to Southeastern Women's Health, welcome!
Southeastern Women’s Health strives to provide each of our patients with the attention they deserve. In order to accommodate all of our patients, appointments are necessary to be seen at our clinic. While we have allotted times within our schedules for same day appointments, we ask that you reserve these times for serious health issues. This will allow us to spend time with our very sick patients and schedule an appropriate amount of time to address your concerns. Please remember that we schedule appointments based on your current health concern so be sure to tell our Clinic Assistants as much information about your problem as you feel comfortable. This will assist them in scheduling the appropriate amount of time for your appointment. When you arrive we will need to verify your insurance and will collect your identification as well. There will also be some forms for you to fill out while you wait so that we can find out about your medical history, current and past medications and the reason for your visit. If you would like to expedite your visit you can download some of these forms by clicking here and fill them out before you arrive.
If you should have to cancel your appointment, we do request 24 hours notice. This will allow us to contact other patients who may wish to be seen sooner and not let an appointment slot go to waste. We charge a small fee for new patient appointments and return appointments who cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
We try diligently to stay on time but because each patient has different needs or emergencies may arise, we may run slightly behind. You may always feel free to call our office ahead of time to find out if your physician is on schedule.
